What it takes to be a Champion in Portalegre

There are yet three major titles to be awarded on the 27th Baja Portalegre 500 and we will now show you what it takes to get each of them. There are several options which don’t require a win…

 

FIA World Cup for Cross Country Rallies – T1

Krzysztof Holowczyc has to finish fifth or better, to be Champion.

 

FIA World Cup for Cross Country Rallies - T2

Alexander Baranenko will be Champion if he finishes:

On the top 4, regardless of Rómulo Branco and Marcos Moraes’ results;

Between fifth and eighth, as long as Rómulo and Moraes don’t win;

On any position outside the points, as long as Rómulo finishes 4th or lower, and Moraes doesn’t win.

 

Rómulo Branco will be Champion if he finishes:

First with Baranenko in fifth or lower, and regardless of Moraes’ results;

Second with Baranenko in eighth or lower, and regardless of Moraes’ results;

Third with Baranenko in tenth or lower, and regardless of Moraes’ results.

 

Marcos Moraes will be Champion if he finishes:

First, with Baranenko not scoring and Rómulo in fifth or lower.

 

Bikes Off-Road National Championship

António Maio will be Champion if he finishes:

In any position in front of Mário Patrão;

Second, as long as Patrão doesn’t win;

Third, as long as Patrão finishes second;

Fourth, as long as Patrão is third;

Fifth, as long as Patrão is fourth;

Sixth or seventh with Patrão in fifth. This applies to any other situation as long as Patrão never finishes more than two positions ahead;

16th or lower, as long as Patrão doesn’t finish any higher than 14th.

 

Mário Patrão will be Champion if he finishes:

First, with Maio in third or lower;

Second, with Maio in fourth or lower;

Third, with Maio in fifth or lower:

Fourth, with Maio in sixth or lower;

Fifth, with Maio in eighth or lower. Again, this applies to any situation until the 13th position, as long as Maio finishes four spots behind him.
