Sebastian Bühler signed his second victory in a row at the Baja Portalegre. The Husavarna FC 450 rider dominated the Automóvel Club de Portugal event from the get-go, and then went on to sign the best times in SS2 and SS3.
Always with no pressure from the opposition, Bühler finished the race with a 10:26.2 seconds advantage over António Maio (Yamaha WR Rally), last year’s Champion.
Rounding up the rostrum, almost 12 minutes adrift from P1, was Bruno Santos. Just like the first two, the Husqvarna FE rider was very consistent throughout the Baja, riding always in the top 3.
But there were other motives to celebrate, with Daniel Jordão conquering the National Championship title. Leader of the board at the start of the Baja Portalegre 500, the Yamaha WR 450 rider manage to beat his rivals right at the end.
Salvador Vargas (Husqvarna FE) and Bernardo Megre (Husqvarna FE TPI) started the day in front but encountered problems in SS3 and ended in 9th and 12th, respectively.
